Gökbük Canyon
A creek-cut canyon on the Finike highland road — shade, water and narrow passages.
Gökbük Canyon
Gökbük is a limestone corridor inland from Finike where the creek has cut a cool, narrow passage. In spring the water can run high; in summer it is a shaded half-day escape from the coast heat. Shoes with grip (or canyoning sandals) are essential — the bed is slippery.
Trail markers change with the season. First-timers should go with a local guide or an experienced group. Phone signal drops in places; share your return time before you leave the road.
Drivers often do the canyon in the morning and Arykanda in the afternoon. Pack out all rubbish — the creek bed is narrow and fragile.
